breast badge; 

1914-15 Star(Capt., 5th Mtd. Bde.) 

British War   and Bi-lingual Victory Medals, 

M.I.D. oak leaf  (Capt.) He was also 

Awarded the Order of St. Michael and 

St.George and the Vatican Order of 

St.Stanislaus

He served originally with Roberts Horse 

and the South African Constabulary.

After the war he served as Commissioner 

for Tanganyika until 

1937
